Baseball

    OK, ladies and gentlemen.
     Our home team is out of the running, which means baseball is done for Detroit fans—or so you might think.  Where can you now put all your baseball playoff energy?  Look no further than the Arizona Diamondbacks.  This is where we need to focus are energy.  Not for the sake of baseball, but rather the good of Arizona’s own Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers.
    Roger wrote a little ditty to help support his hometown team, the Arizona Diamond backs.  The farther they go the more I am sure we will hear his song, providing some much needed kudos for a very talented singer and songwriter.  So watch the video and spread the word.  This year, I back, you back, we back the D-backs.  That’s a fact, Jack!!
    Yes, I did go see Roger at the Magic Bag last night.  It is the best live show you will ever attend!

Episode 49: Bitch Fest on the Moon

Episode 48: Bloats

    I was getting tired of all the audible thumping every time someone emphatically taps the table.  I switched to different mics, and now they pick rumblings and thumpings every time someone shifts in their chair!  I tried to EQ the sound to lessen the bass, but you’ll probably still hear of thumping and rumbling regardless.  My apologies if it gets on your nerves (as it does mine).  Hopefully we can get this sorted out next time.  And now, on to the show notes:

Which Way Do I Steer?

    The gang met up last Saturday (August 18) to finally visit Cheeseburger in Paradise, in Sterling Heights (by Lakeside Mall).  Not only did we get a chance to dine on cheeseburgers and popcorn shrimp, and sample the house brand Island Lager, but we got to see Mike’s brother’s side project Voodoo Café.  You know, Mike’s brother Jimmy, right?  He sings our theme song.
    No podcast was recorded, but Mickey (as always) documented the event, and the photos are online in our WAOTNC Photo Gallery.
